I've built a reputation as the one who is always traveling, but the truth is, I never meant to become a traveler.
To understand my journey fully, here is a bit about me:
For the first 6 years, I lived in a Pueblo in Nayarit, Mexico. Though big, my family remained tight-knit, as most Mexican families do. I lived in 2 different cities growing up: Tijuana and Compostela. This was all in knew.
Until it wasn't.
At the age of 6, I moved to California where I quickly learned English, American Customs and a completely different world.
Through the first 10 years of my living in California, I traveled here and there. Most Notably to Hawaii, Puerto Vallarta, and San Diego twice a year to visit family.
Then came University.
While completing my first year at University, I came across a flyer on campus that talked about studying abroad. There was no hesitation in my next set of actions. I rushed to complete the application for jaén, Spain. For the next few weeks I waited patently.
Then the day came.
I was admitted into a year-long program to study abroad in Spain. It was during this point in my life that i fully understood my purpose and my passion.
Travel.
